The Light Unit S kit with technopolymer support, thanks to the latest generation SMD LED technology that integrates three functions (indicator, rear position light and stop light), guarantees high light intensity, representing one of the smallest options in its category while still respecting European approval standards.
Rational design that, in very small dimensions, contains everything necessary to perfectly satisfy its function. In Light Unit the lighting beam develops longitudinally to the fixing point of the indicator itself (instead of at 90°, as more commonly happens in other indicators), increasing the ease of application and assembly possibilities.
Therefore, Light Unit represents a new and innovative concept for Rizoma direction indicators, a light signaling device that can be effectively mounted in a variety of configurations according to the specific needs of the user, without sacrificing aesthetics, and which makes these pluses the cornerstones of its patent.

The wiring kit is required to mount the turn indicators.
The indicators are supplied with two pairs of resistors (10 W / 15 Ω each).
On motorcycles equipped with a control light on the instrument panel (only BMW R nine T models from 2017 onwards), in order to avoid the control light from coming on or incorrect flashing frequency, we recommend installing the EE149H resistor kit (3 W – 38 Ω) connected in parallel to the Rizoma indicators, which completely replace the resistor kit contained in the Rizoma indicator package, which therefore must not be used.
The installation of the Light Unit S indicator includes different options.
REAR POSITION
- In OEM configuration with mounting kit for Rizoma rear indicators coupled with FR440B technopolymer support (included in the kit).
- On Rizoma license plate holder, which already contains adapters for rear indicators, coupled with FR440B technopolymer support (included in the kit).
The assembly of the Light Unit S always requires wiring suitable for installing the Rizoma indicator on your motorcycle. Wiring kits must be purchased separately.
Please note that since the Rizoma three-function rear indicators (S series) also cover the rear position light and stop functions, they can only be mounted in cases where:
- Rizoma has developed a license plate holder kit including a dedicated wiring kit, so as to allow the elimination of the OEM rear light by installing the multifunction indicators$$
- or, if the motorcycle has multifunction indicators as standard, Rizoma has created a dedicated plug&play wiring kit.
Therefore, we always recommend checking the list of products compatible with your motorcycle. Where the S series indicators are not offered, it means that the dedicated license plate holder is not suitable for removing the OEM rear light or wiring is not available for replacing the OEM multifunction indicators.

Q: Approvals and certifications.
A: The product is approved. To be sure of approval, simply check the product for the presence of a letter E, immediately followed by a number inside a circle.
Q: What are the electrical specifications?
A: Parking light 12 V / 0.5 W - Direction indicator light 12 V / 1.1 W - Stop light 12 V / 0.9 W.
Q: What lighting technology do you use?
A: SMD (Surface-Mounted-Device) LED technology.
Q: What advantages do I have by mounting SMD LED indicators?
A: Compared to a normal bulb, LEDs have a longer life, greater light intensity and less space.
Q: Are resistors included in the package?
A: Yes, for each individual indicator 2 resistors are included (10 W / 15 Ω each).
Q: What does it mean to mount the indicator resistors in series or in parallel?
A: We talk about series connection when two or more components are connected in such a way as to form a single path for the electric current that passes through them$$ in the caseof two-terminal electrical components (called bipoles) the series connection requires that the end of each of them is connected only to the end of another, the power is supplied via the free terminals of the first and last bipole. (see diagram 2 assembly instructions) - We speak of parallel connection instead when the components are connected to a pair of conductors so that the electrical voltage is applied to all of them in the same way. To better understand, let's take an example with some people: they are placed between two stretched and parallel ropes and each person tightens each rope with one hand so that each one holds with the right hand the same rope that all the others hold with the right hand and the same happens for the left hand.

Q: I have only mounted 2 Rizoma direction indicators on my motorcycle but they do not flash correctly. How can I solve the problem?
A: On the motorcycles tested in our R&D department, four indicators are always mounted (where possible). We recommend contacting a specialized workshop or possibly compensating with resistors.
Q: My motorcycle is equipped with standard LED indicators. When installing Rizoma indicators, do I have to use resistors?
A: No, they are generally not used.

Shipments
We entrust our shipments to leading logistics partners. Each package, before being entrusted to the carrier, is checked and if necessary is equipped with additional packaging, both internally and externally.
Dropshipping: for some orders, in order to speed up delivery times as much as possible, we ask our supplier for direct shipping. For this reason it may happen that the sender is different from our address.
The shipment and delivery of the products will be carried out in many areas of the world. By finalizing the purchase, it will be possible to verify the coverage of your locality together with the calculation of the expected transport. If you have different needs, please contact us in order to estimate ad-hoc transport costs.
Once shipped, delivery times will be 24/48 working hours for Italy. While for other countries the delivery time will vary depending on the destination.
Shipping cost
Only for Italy will free shipping be offered to all purchases of an amount equal to or greater than € 300.00 including VAT, below this amount a shipping fee will be requested which will be calculated based on the volume weight of each item . For all other destinations, the transport price will be calculated at the time of the order based on the volume weight of the order and its destination.
For resellers, due to the offers offered, the shipping costs will always be charged, regardless of the purchase amount.
Free Transportation Insurance:
We offer all our customers an exclusive transport insurance which provides for the replacement of any breakage of the purchased material, caused exclusively by the courier during transport, at no additional cost. Without "trapping" the customer in lengthy paperwork, it will be sufficient to use the appropriate replacement request form - contact form - to allow us to organize collection from the address indicated by the customer which will coincide with the replacement of the insured material.
How to proceed to take advantage of the insurance:
As soon as the package is delivered, please carry out a scrupulous check in the presence of the courier. If the package arrives damaged on the outside, it does not mean that the inside is damaged, in any case it is recommended to sign the delivery note noting the wording "damaged package, acceptance subject to inspection". Subsequently, immediately carry out an internal check of the package within and no later than 2 days from receipt of the same. If any type of damage is found, immediately notify our staff so that we can take the necessary measures, i.e. the replacement of the damaged part or the entire product under warranty at no additional cost.
The replacement times for the insured material will vary according to the availability of the requested spare parts. In any case, these terms will fluctuate between 2 days and 30 working days from the request. Our staff will take care of keeping the customer updated on the procedure of the open file.
Return Policy
Every private customer who buys from our e-commerce has the unquestionable right to withdraw from the order according to the laws in force, within a maximum period of 14 non-working days from the date of delivery of the order, without the need to specify the reason. In the event of withdrawal, the customer has the right to request a refund of the amount paid, or (if he wishes) to request an exchange of the product of equal or greater value. The direct costs of returning the goods will be borne by the customer.
Exclusions from the right of withdrawal: The right of withdrawal applies exclusively to the private consumer, as per current laws. The right of withdrawal is not applicable if the buyer is a VAT holder who proceeds with the purchase as a company or professional. Important: For exercising the right of withdrawal, the customer is requested to send the products to our warehouses in the same state (like new) in which they were shipped by us, i.e. unused, unused installed, in the same packaging with which we shipped and complete with all accessory parts present inside the box at the time of shipment.
If the product(s) arrives used, spoiled or does not conform to the requested condition, we reserve the right to withhold a certain amount which will be equal to the decrease in the value of the goods. The customer is responsible for any decrease in the value of the goods, resulting from handling of the goods other than that necessary to establish the nature and characteristics.
The responsibility for the integrity of the goods during the return shipment is always the responsibility of the customer. We therefore invite you to insure all shipments destined for withdrawal.
Refund Timeline:
In the event of a refund request, the same will take place no later than 14 days from receipt of the material price at our office.
